Join the Green Collar Futures Board of Directors!

Are you passionate about the environment and youth development?

Do you want to help shape the green economy?

Do you want to join a team of innovative thinkers and entrepreneurs?

The Green Collar Futures Board is a great way to be active in New Jersey’s evolution toward a new green economy.

Our program is a start up organization, and we need help in early-stage business development, as well as visionaries able to enact the many opportunities that our program presents:

Green Collar Futures’ 10-month apprenticeship program will train skilled workers and innovative leaders for emerging green businesses, including energy & building efficiency, renewable energy, green building, organic gardening, composting, local goods, and value-added foodstuffs. We need to connect with entrepreneurs to help launch these businesses.

Green Collar futures’ curriculum design encompasses a broad range of educational models, including service learning, trade apprenticeships, outdoor experiential education, place-based learning, and permaculture. We need to connect with professional educators to help weave this tapestry of learning together.

Green Collar Futures Board is an exciting, innovative venture.
I hope you will consider joining us on our journey!
